Testimonials

“The English track in the BSc in International Business is an excellent opportunity to not only further my personal development and career progression within a reputable educational institute, but also to improve both my French and English skills. Being a Chinese student, it is not usual for me to raise questions in class. However, it seemed that all the professors understood and appreciated this point. Any questions I did have were answered competently and without hesitation. In addition, the course curriculum here is extremely useful as it takes both the theory and practical aspects of business in account.

In second year, all students in this program have a chance to go on exchange to another country to continue their studies. Having experience in a new country and knowing how to communicate with people who have different cultural backgrounds is a basic element of being an international businessman. I am very eager to have this opportunity to explore new things during this exchange program.”

“Having completed my A Levels at an English grammar school and wanting to study abroad, I began my search for an undergraduate degree programme that would suit my needs. I wanted a course that would act as a suitable foundation to an international career in business and was therefore looking for a highly reputable institution, with excellent academic quality, that taught in English. I also wanted the possibility of having extensive international experience, as well as an exciting range of modules. Rouen Business School’s BSc in International Business ticked all of these boxes. Not only does the course provide a good theoretical basis of economics, business and management, but there is also the very practical nature of teaching; during my first internship I was already able to put into practice many skills I had picked up through the hands-on approach in the classroom.
Rouen Business School is a great place to study and to meet fascinating people from across the world. The city itself is very well adapted for student living and has an array of wonderful museums and art galleries. Back in the Business School, the library has an incredible amount of literature, textbooks, magazines and journals, and is very frequently updated with new items. I eagerly look forward to returning to Rouen after my year abroad in order to fully develop my knowledge in the relevant fields of international business, and to graduate feeling ready for an exciting yet challenging career.”

“Several students noticed that there was no Sports association in the BSc in International Business – IFI programme, so we created SPORTIFITOI, and I became the President. There were about 8 of us in the association, and we worked in cooperation with the FFSU (French Federation for Sport in the University), which is responsible for sports activities at the university level. It organises competitions in which we participated, and where we were competing with other schools. Our association was responsible for granting licences to our members. At the moment, the BSc in International Business – IFI programme has teams for Football, Basketball, Volleyball (men and women), and Handball, and we also play individual sports. This year we plan to expand our activities, we’ll certainly include tennis… Another new thing, the Rouen Chamber of Commerce and Industry will reserve time slots for the facilities of the Sports Department in the University, in Mont Saint Aignan, to enable SPORTIFITOI members to train.

With this association, we discovered how to set up a Student Sports Union in collaboration with the other programmes in Rouen Business School, and how it all works.”
