Personal Tutoring

“Any students entering the School can take advantage of bridges between the programmes so as to construct a study programme adapted to his/her career plan. So BSc in International Business  graduates who want to carry on with a 5th year of studies can choose from among several Specialised Masters in the international domain (some examples : Master in Global Management, Management Strategies for International Development, Corporate Communication Strategies, etc). You want a job offering mobility and contact with other cultures, our mission is to help you build your career with these aspirations in mind.”
Stephen Murdoch – Director of the BSc in International Business

Building a career plan

The teaching staff includes 50 teachers and associates who assist the students in the definition of their career plan. Each of the students has a tutor to help him/her find internships and be prepared for entry into the jobs market.

Assistance and guidance

Students receive assistance and are constantly guided in all their tasks : administrative (registration, accommodation), academic (choice of courses), personal (health, social), etc. This is the case at the BSc in International Business – IFI and also in the university where they will be for the second year of study, and where they have favoured status.

Modulable study programme

  • In the 1st year, the students take the time to choose a destination for their year of study abroad.
  • In the second year, students will spend one year abroad in a partner university
  • In the 3rd year, the students can choose to carry out their internship in a different country from the one where they spent their second year, so as to be proficient in two foreign languages.
  • In the 4th year, students can choose a major : International Marketing or International Management.

Real means for providing individual guidance in a friendly atmosphere

  • Yearly intake of 100 students.
  • Class sizes from 15 to 35 students, depending on the subject matter.
  • Special contact is maintained with the students’ relations : the students’ parents or others close to them are considered as partners by the BSc in International Business  educational team : telephone contact and individual meetings, bi-monthly information sheet, invitations to presentations and research work, etc.

Personal experience

“After the BSc in International Business, I decided to specialise in Marketing. I found the programme I was looking for within the NEOMA Business School, in the form of a Specialised Masters in Market Research and Marketing Management. The quality of the training at the BSc in International Business, together with my internships in France and abroad were crucial to my being accepted for this part-time masters course in Paris. So, during the week, I’m a Junior Product Manager in Sanford Ecriture (Waterman, Parker, etc.) and on Friday and Saturday I’m a student in the Paris Annexe of the NEOMA Business School. The School is a great opportunity for BSc in International Business students to specialise with a 5th year of study in one of France’s top business schools.”
Renaud Hubert [2004], Specialised Masters in Market Research and Marketing Management – NEOMA Business School
