
Financial Times 2010 Rankings (september 2010) – Best Masters in ManagementThe Financial Times has ranked our Master Grande Ecole programme as the 23rd best Master in Management.
This ranking confirms our commitment towards excellence and our place as one of the leading business schools worldwide.
In the 2009 Business Schools Rankings published in Challenges, Rouen Business School takes 9th place for its ‘Power’ and 4th place for its ‘International Outreach’. The ‘Power’ criterion takes into account the selectivity rate, the financial resources, the staff/student ratio, the salary expectations of new graduates, the accreditations and the alumni network. The ‘International Outreach’ criterion covers the percentage of exchanges with accredited institutions, the percentage of students travelling on exchanges to Asia, America or Oceania, and the percentage of foreign members of permanent faculty.
The BSc in International Business – IFI comes in 3rd place in the rankings of 4-year schools. The programme is congratulated for the numerous opportunities for study years in the United States and Canada it offers its students. In addition, the journalist highlights the recent innovation in the programme which now ‘offers students a choice in the fourth year, adapted to their personal project : either a specialisation with a view to continuing studies at the Masters level, or the Business Track, preparing students for direct entry into the jobs market’.
Rouen Business School is ranked 9th in L’Etudiant’s 2011 listing of Elite Business Schools. The school was particularly well marked for its research productions (publications in well known academic journals), development of teaching case studies, and accredited international partnerships. Rouen Business School was also acknowledged for the salaries of its young graduates.
Rouen Business School’s Master Grande Ecole ranked 11th in the Figaro Etudiant’s 2010 listing of Elite Business Schools.
The school was particularly acknowledged for the academic level of its faculty members, and for its international network of academic partners among which there are numerous accredited universities. The average time spent abroad by our students on work experience or university exchanges, and the network of companies present during forums organized by the School’s Business Relations department are among the School’s strengths. The Figaro Etudiant also pinpointed the school’s efforts in terms of entrepreneurship.
The BSc in International Business – IFI has maintained its 14th place in the Figaro Etudiant’s listing of post-Baccalauréat courses.
Among the main strengths noted by the journalist: the academic prestige (national and international labels), the quality of its network of accredited international partners, the time students spend abroad. The professional level of teaching is also seen as one of the main strengths of the program. This criteria relates to the teachings of professional speakers and the number of specializations available in the program.
Rouen Business School comes in at 10th place in the 2010 Nouvel Economiste ranking of the best management training programmes. This ranking is the result of a survey of a hundred or more human resources professionals (HR Directors and recruitment consultants).
The Master Grande Ecole programme places 9th in the general ranking of business schools with entry after 2-year preparation published by the news magazine ‘Le Point’. The programme received special appreciation under the criteria ‘Career’ (graduates salary and promotion prospects after 3 years) and ‘Satisfaction of alumni’ (the school comes 6th for this criterion).
In the category of 4-year business schools with entry directly after the Baccalaureate, the BSc in International Business – IFI takes 5th place.
The Rouen Business School has been ranked 9th among Management Schools for salaries in France in l’Expansion and Towers Perrin’s survey: starting salaries range from 33 000 to 38 500 Euros and 3 years after graduation, salaries ranged from 44 000 to 46 000 Euros.
350 French and international firms (including 20 CAC 40 companies) participated in this survey.
