“The corporate world is moving rapidly and we are adapting the BSc in International Business – BSc in International Business – IFI programme to meet the expectations of the futrure employers. Recruiters need candidates who can show a clear and coherent professional orientation, who are dynamic, motivated and professional in their approach. An BSc in International Business – BSc in International Business – IFI student will work on these qualities until the end of his/her studies, through career guidance, association work, group projects in direct relation with businesses, professionnal présentation in front of partner university and business representatives, and of course, their extensive study and work experience abroad.

Students will acquire core management competences through courses that are based on the very latest management theroy as well as real life cases and experience.

The BSc in International Business – BSc in International Business – IFI has never been more international than it is today. We have an ever-increasing multi-cultural faculty and students becom truly operationnal in at least two foreign languages. A future BSc in International Business – BSc in International Business – IFI graduate will have both the competences and the personal qualities to be highly competitive and successful on an increasingly demanding international job market”.

The aim of the BSc in International Business – IFI is to train students for careers in trade, marketing and management in companies with an international dimension. The study programme offers an alternation between periods in France and abroad as well as a six-month internship in a company.

Immersion in the field of international business is the BSc in International Business – IFI’s strong point :

160 international students of 17 nationalities take part in the classes

61 partner universities throughout the world, in 20 countries, of which 24 are in the USA and Canada

each student spends one year in a foreign university and carries out a six-month internship in a company outside France. Altogether, BSc in International Business – IFI have the advantage of 18 months experience abroad.

At the end of the fourth year, the students make a presentation on their internship to the ‘International Business Panel’, where their performance is evaluated by the BSc in International Business – IFI’s international partners, both academic and business. This test is crucial in the obtention of the diploma.

The BSc in International Business – IFI programme develops the skills sought by business :

  • knowledge of international business
  • fluency in foreign languages (2 languages compulsory)
  • expertise in the techniques of trade, management and marketing linked to international trade
  • awareness of intercultural differences, flexibility and adaptability

The BSc in International Business – IFI has maintained its 14th place in the Figaro Etudiant’s listing of post-Baccalauréat courses.

Among the high points noted by the journalist: the academic prestige (national and international labels), the quality of its network of accredited international partners, the time students spend abroad. The professional level of teaching is also seen as one of the high points of the program. These criteria relate to the teachings of professional speakers and the number of specializations available in the program.
