The quality of our links with the business world is at the heart of our strategy, supported by a network of more than 14 000 alumni, who are in contact with the School on an everyday basis.
Our corporate partners are present at every stage of the student’s life, from the selection process right up to his/her entry into the job market. On a daily basis they contribute to the enhancement of our teaching methods, and they are more and more involved in our research activities. They also give us their financial support, which is essential for our development. It was against this background that Rouen Business School launched its Corporate Club.
Building on this support, the Corporate Relations Department offers Club members access to the School’s resources, to meet their needs, whether they be recruiting interns or future employees, or finding solutions for their organisational and development problems.
In order to select and train up future managers who will rapidly be operational, we involve our business partners right at the start of the recruitment process in the admissions boards.
In all our programmes, the 500 or more professionals who contribute to the coursework share their experience with the students. This interchange is also fostered by the numerous internships which are an integral part of the various courses, and by the significant growth of the apprenticeship approach, which is more and more appreciated by both business and students.
Our research groups are witnesses to how companies react to their complex management issues, and they work to strengthen their links with the business world and to pass on the results of their research. For their part, businesses are becoming more and more involved with the researchers through the creation of Chairs and through their contributions to research work.
The life of the School is punctuated by numerous meetings with the business community : breakfast debates on thorny current issues, the Master Grande Ecole Programme’s Summer School, where, in workshops led by researchers and alumni, there is the possibility of examining ‘business’ issues in the light of the most up-to-date expert research
