Flexibility, Loyalty Building, New Careers axis

The mission of the ‘Flexibility, Loyalty Building, New Careers’ Chair is to produce and disseminate knowledge about the profound changes affecting jobs and careers. In order to document these questions, the Chair’s scientific project plans to explore people’s behaviour, expectations and needs with regard to employment and careers, to evaluate corporate career management practice and to explore social norms and regulations.

Among the work in progress :

  • Measurement and decisive factors in objective and subjective career success, particularly via those mechanism which build success, such as reputation.
  • People’s career strategies : generation effects, careers and breaks : the influence of norms. Organisational socialisation, recruiters’ behaviour, positions adopted in guidance in career plan.
