Rouen Business School continues its development and to strengthen its faculty


Nine new professors are joining the Rouen Business School faculty for the 2011-2012 school year. Composed of 80 permanent professors, the faculty is once again increasing its international profile, with 35% of foreign professors. With these new recruits, the Rouen Business School faculty is also adding to its range of scientific and professional expertise to better serve the programs. The arrival of these new professors and several new research assistants consolidate the school’s research potential.

7ème journée d’études sur les carrières

La communauté francophone des chercheurs sera réunie les 19 et 20 mai 2011 sur le campus de Rouen Business School.

Cette 7ème journée fait suite aux journées d’études précédentes organisées par le Groupe de Recherche Thématique de l’AGRH consacré aux carrières et à trois colloques « nouveau travail, nouveaux emplois, nouvelles carrières » organisés par Rouen Business School et BEM Management School.

CCMP 2011 prize giving

On Tuesday May 3 2011, Rouen Business School received several prizes from the Centrale des Cas et des Médias Pédagogiques (Center for Case Studies and Pedagogical Medias) during a reward ceremony held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Paris.

The “TOP établissement” prize, rewarding the school or university having sold the most Case studies between June 2009 and December 2010 was given to Rouen Business School. During this period 16 different case studies written by ten Rouen Business School professors, achieved 83 “School” licenses.

The CCMP 2011 prize “Top cas Production/Logistique” was awarded to Rim Kalaï, associate professor at Rouen Business School for the case study “Nestlé France/SCA Packaging Nicollet : une collaboration ‘Extreme’ment réussie” (P0322). This study was completed thanks to the collaboration of a Rouen Business School student, Marion Remoué, on an internship at Nestlé.

Ulrike Mayrhofer, affiliated faculty at Rouen Business School, won three prizes: the CCMP 2011 prize “Top Cas Marketing” for the case study “Club Med : tous les bonheurs du monde”, the prize “Top Cas en Stratégie” for “Audi : la conquête des marchés internationaux” co-written with Sylvie Hertrich. And the “Top Auteur” prize.

These prizes reward Rouen Business School’s active policy for the development of pedagogical case studies initiated by the Faculty Affairs department. Congratulations to all the professors having written case studies, thus contributing to this success: Sarah Alves, Gérard Chapalain, Laetitia Chicheportiche, Pascale Ezan, Bruno Godey, Yannicke Heuberger, Rim Kalaï, Chantal Lai, Ulrike Mayrhofer, Erwan Ormiston, Isabelle Ravera.
