Rouen Business School continues its development and to strengthen its faculty


Nine new professors are joining the Rouen Business School faculty for the 2011-2012 school year. Composed of 80 permanent professors, the faculty is once again increasing its international profile, with 35% of foreign professors. With these new recruits, the Rouen Business School faculty is also adding to its range of scientific and professional expertise to better serve the programs. The arrival of these new professors and several new research assistants consolidate the school’s research potential.

Liang GUO

After studying in China, France and Great Britain, Liang Guo achieved his Ph.D last June from Cambridge University (UK). He specializes in entrepreneurial finance and capital-risk. He has also developed a consultancy activity for start-ups. He is joining the “Entrepreneurship & Innovation” group.

Samuel FOSSO WAMBA

Associate Professor

Accounting, Law, Information & Organization Department

Samuel Fosso Wamba achieved his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering (specializing in the Management of Technology and Information Systems) at the Polytechnic School, Montréal University, Québec, Canada in 2009 after a Masters in e-commerce at HEC Montréal. As a specialist in RFID technologies, he has taught at the School of Information Systems & Technology, Wollongong University (Australia). He is the founder of RFID Académia, consulting and training in RFID. He is joining the “Customer, Retail & Supply chain” group.

Radhouane KAMMOUN

Radhouane Kammoun, graduate of the Ecole Centrale de Marseille, achieved his doctorate in management science at the Université Paul Cézanne, IAE Graduate School of Management in 2011. Specialist in questions of dual or multi listing of shares on financial markets, he is joining the “Responsible Finance” research group.

Joonas ROKKA

After an Msc in marketing (Helsinki School of Economics), Jonas Rokka acquired his doctorate in marketing at the University of Aalto School of Economics (Finland) in 2010. He specializes in digital marketing and research methods in video graphics. He has also developed a consultancy activity. His writings are published most notably in Management Decision, International Journal of Consumer Studies.

Sylvie LACOSTE

After a career in large industrial groups (Pechiney, SCA Packaging, ICI) in sales, marketing and key accounts management positions, Sylvie Lacoste secured an aggregation in economics in 2004 and a doctorate in Management science at the IAE of Paris in 2010. Specializing in marketing B2B and key account management, she is joining the “Customer, Retail & Supply chain” group.

Isabelle ULRICH

After a 15 year career in large international groups (Procter & Gamble, Bourjois-Chanel, Estée Lauder), Isabelle Ulrich began a career as research-professor. She achieved her doctorate in marketing in 2010 from the University Paris II and a Ph.D from ESCP Europe. Before joining Rouen Business School, she was an affiliate professor at ESCP Europe where she co-managed the MS “Marketing & Communication”. Isabelle Ulrich is also a graduate of Rouen Business School (MGE 1988).

Giacomo SBRANA

A specialist in financial econometrics, doctor in econometrics from the University of Rome (2004), with an MSc in Econometrics from the University of Southampton, Giacomo Sbrana worked at the European Central Bank in Frankfort. He was expert associated with the United Nations in New York from 2005 to 2009. He then held a research position within the BETA Laboratory of the University of Strasburg. In the ALOIM department he will teach statistics and econometrics.

Xavier PHILIPPE

Research assistant in the Management and Strategy department of Rouen Business School, Xavier Philippe is a doctor in HR and will shortly be defending his doctorate thesis on the role of corporate universities in the socialization of employees. He has experience in professional training in agencies and schools (ESCP Europe). He is joining the “Contemporary P@thways of Career, Life and Learning Research group” group.
